This varsity carnival is held annually and the host is chosen alternately the three participating countries. UUM is chosen to be the host for this 17th edition of carnival.
My pleasure to be back! Even I have to leave my clinical life for a while. This is my second time playing tennis in Malaysia, after 3 years ago in 2012 at Perlis. Both cities aren't any different. Notice that their tagline is 'University in the green forest', and it's totally true. I can't see something better besides the green grass, hills, or even monkeys around.

There's always the new experience in every IMTGT events I've joined. This year, we just have 5 of us, women tennis team who goes. The men tennis team didn't go, because some troubles happened. We have no choice, we need to be strong to carry on with the coach beside us and have our heavy backpack at our back.

Believe it or not, after six straight years of joining this kinda tournament, I know what I like and don't like to wear when it comes to the fashion part of it all. I choose the blue color dominance to be mixed.

I play singles all the time, and I think it's such a challenging for me who always play in double match for many years. I have to play by myself, struggling alone, and have to had a self-reliance. It shouldn't be a burden remember that I raised and educated to play single. But in fact, it's a different situation, mental and physically.

We lost in quarterfinal from UiTM who becoming the champion at the end. At least, we can have a good tournament without winning, as well... It isn't always about winning, more than that we got a lot of experiences, learn many about team strategy and mentally better. Do you know that we didn't lost, we were just almost win :p
To seize the days of this positive week, we're just strolling around, borrow the bicycle, making some new friends, and supporting another USU team to reach the final match.

Then in the last day, we had exploring UUM complex by bike. It's really a pretty cool and peaceful university, a great place to study and have the good achievement in academic or non-academic side. Because there's no hangout place or public transportation to go. Hmmm~

Thank you for having us, UUM!

Next year (2016) will be the turn for Rajamangala University of Technology Sri Vijaya, Thailand. Hopefully I have many more years in front of me. I’m going to try to push my own limits and see how I can really go:)

70th Independence Day of Indonesia

What would you do in your life when you were 70 years old? Stay dynamic and productive or just laying down at your bed, wasting time the rest of your life.
We will know, in that 70 years many things happened. All sadness or happiness just come and go easily. Everything changes. Change doesn't happen overnight. It takes a long time, a long journey to grow. The country was grow. Yeah, we were grow. G-R-O-W! We are tired of growing already and never stop growing. Sounds like an old generic stereotype. You may be strong. You may be rich. But to change this growing country to reach the top we need to have nationalism in our head, in our heart. Respect for pride. That's growing up is all about.

Generally, I love the symbol of my country, Indonesia. We have many! The flag is the one. The color of red and white seems so elegant and able to describe our mentality properly. Red is our blood, and white is our bones. Blend together in this powerful synergy.

A whole new chapter is just begin. Let's start from the smallest thing. Keep this country clean, for example?

Beach Essential

Late summer is a perfect time to go some place that can reflect the summer perfectly before the season ends. We are talking about BEACH! White sands, corals, mangrove, wind, and sun. Who doesn't love it?

I'll share my beach essentials on this post. These are some essentials you need to prepare before you go. Check it out!

Beach shawl: Bali's local market (unbranded)
Summer hat: Forever XXI
Camera: Nikon D3100
Sunglasses: Zara
Wallet: Guy Laroche

1. Beach Shawl
A must have items at the beach! To covered your sexy outfit or bikini. You can also handle it to drying your body after water activities. In some case, you can sit on it over the white soft sand. So multifunctional!

2. Summer Hat

How to make a summer in style? A perfect hat absolutely! Other than going to look in high fashion, summer hat also serves to protect your face from the directly sun burn.

3. Camera

Do not want to miss this moment. Capture your best summer style and stay exist on social media :) Prepare your best lens, whether you want a normal lens, fish eye, eagle eye, go pro, etc. The most important is don't forget to check your battery and memory card first.

4. Sunglasses

Control your eyes under the sweltering sunlight by using sunnies. Believe me, you'll look more stylish and easier to the eyes wide open.

5. Sunblock
Sun care is something I take very serious and I want to spread that UV radiation is bad for you. So, protect your skin with SPF lotion. I use two different brands for this product, because of the difference between skin face and hand & body. Not only for long hours outdoor activity, but recommended for all day even when you out of home for a while. Start to care your skin, and make sun protection into your everyday skincare ritual. If needed, you could add tanning lotion too. It makes your skin looks glowing and exotic.

6. Wallet
There are so many pretty things are sold at the beach, either foods and drinks. Some beaches are freely open for public, but sometimes you need to pay first. In case you want to go to another island across the sea, you have to rent a boat, and it's spend many costs for sure. If the resort have water sports, I bet you can't resist yourself and at the end you want to try it. Diving, canoeing, parachuting, even banana boat! The point is... Don't leave your money at home!

Enjoy your late Summer Holiday!
