My pleasure to be back! Even I have to leave my clinical life for a while. This is my second time playing tennis in Malaysia, after 3 years ago in 2012 at Perlis. Both cities aren't any different. Notice that their tagline is 'University in the green forest', and it's totally true. I can't see something better besides the green grass, hills, or even monkeys around.
There's always the new experience in every IMTGT events I've joined. This year, we just have 5 of us, women tennis team who goes. The men tennis team didn't go, because some troubles happened. We have no choice, we need to be strong to carry on with the coach beside us and have our heavy backpack at our back.
Believe it or not, after six straight years of joining this kinda tournament, I know what I like and don't like to wear when it comes to the fashion part of it all. I choose the blue color dominance to be mixed.
I play singles all the time, and I think it's such a challenging for me who always play in double match for many years. I have to play by myself, struggling alone, and have to had a self-reliance. It shouldn't be a burden remember that I raised and educated to play single. But in fact, it's a different situation, mental and physically.
We lost in quarterfinal from UiTM who becoming the champion at the end. At least, we can have a good tournament without winning, as well... It isn't always about winning, more than that we got a lot of experiences, learn many about team strategy and mentally better. Do you know that we didn't lost, we were just almost win :p
To seize the days of this positive week, we're just strolling around, borrow the bicycle, making some new friends, and supporting another USU team to reach the final match.
Then in the last day, we had exploring UUM complex by bike. It's really a pretty cool and peaceful university, a great place to study and have the good achievement in academic or non-academic side. Because there's no hangout place or public transportation to go. Hmmm~
Thank you for having us, UUM!
Next year (2016) will be the turn for Rajamangala University of Technology Sri Vijaya, Thailand. Hopefully I have many more years in front of me. I’m going to try to push my own limits and see how I can really go:)
